The Head of Sales at Coronation Securities Limited is responsible for spearheading revenue growth and overseeing all sales operations within the organization. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader who can craft and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive performance across diverse client segments, ranging from HNIs to institutional and retail investors. As a senior member of the leadership team, the Head of Sales collaborates closely with product, research, trading, and compliance units to align sales activities with the company's broader vision and strategic goals. The Head of Sales is not only accountable for achieving revenue targets but also for shaping Coronation Securities' market positioning, deepening client relationships, and contributing to the Company's long term growth and success in Nigeria's dynamic financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy focused on revenue growth across equities, fixed income, and other financial products.
- Drive client acquisition efforts across
HNIs
,
institutional investors
,
corporates
, and
retail clients
, ensuring solutions align with each client's investment objectives. - Supervise all sales-related operations — order execution, trade settlements, and client onboarding — to ensure seamless service delivery.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with portfolio managers, fund administrators, corporate treasurers, and family offices
- Develop and execute
client retention programs
, emphasizing proactive issue resolution, superior service, and loyalty-building initiatives. - Represent the brokerage arm at
investment forums

capital market briefings
, and
roadshows
to enhance visibility and market presence.
Market Insights & Collaboration
- Collaborate with
research
and
trading teams
to deliver timely market insights, stock recommendations, and trade ideas that drive trading activity. - Work with
product
and
research teams
to develop innovative investment products tailored to client needs and emerging market trends.
Digital Transformation & Compliance
- Champion the
digital transformation
of client engagement, leveraging technology to expand market reach and automate trade processes. - Ensure strict compliance with
SEC

NGX
, and
CIS
regulations, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and inspire a team of high-performing sales professionals across institutional, retail, and private banking segments.
- Monitor trading activities, performance metrics, client profitability, and market penetration to assess progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide senior management with data-driven reports and insights to guide business decisions and resource allocation.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - 12–15 years
of relevant sales experience within a
stock brokerage
or
financial services firm
. - Proven track record in selling
equities

, and other investment products. - Minimum of
5 years
in a leadership role, managing high-performing sales teams. - Strong understanding of the
