Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audit Assistant, located in Ikeja. The Audit Assistant will work closely with the audit team to examine and analyze financial statements, prepare audit reports, and support the execution of financial audits. Daily tasks include verifying financial data, Handling Tax Investigations, reviewing internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with audit documentation and reporting processes. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Financial Statements and preparing detailed Audit Reports
  • Experience in Handling Tax Audits and Investigations.
  • Experience conducting Financial Audits and other finance-related assessments
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and identifying discrepancies
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Relevant certifications such as ACA, CIA are an advantage
