Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at The Bible Society of Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing business strategies to achieve our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement aggressive marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Identify and exploit business opportunities through strategic marketing experience.
  • Apply an entrepreneurial approach to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Anticipate and respond to customers' requirements with a genuine desire to exceed their expectations.
  • Ensure excellent delivery on annual sales targets and net income of the organization.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to drive growth, increase market share, and revenue targets.
  • Align marketing efforts with the organization's overall business objectives and goals.
  • Plan, forecast, and implement strategic sales to achieve improved market share and income generation.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) in relation to guesthouse business development activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target customer segments, emerging trends, and competitive positioning.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 years cognate experience in renowned Christian guesthouse/hotel management.
  • Higher National Diploma or first degree in Catering & Hotel Management or related discipline.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a member of relevant professional bodies.
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality industry and management.
  • Excellent communication skill, aggressive and strategic marketing drive.
  • Strong analytical mind, and logistical planning skill, result-driven with CAN DO spirit.
  • Proven proactive high value sales experience in a similar sales role and Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and social skills, and addicted goal-getter.
  • Financial acumen with ability to balance customer and business priorities.
