Strategic Business Development Director for Hotel Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at the Bible Guesthouse. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel management, with a strong background in marketing and sales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities. They will also be expected to work closely with our Research and Development Centre to deliver excellent mutually rewarding values to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement aggressive marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and exploit new business opportunities through strategic marketing experience
- Apply an entrepreneurial approach to drive business growth and increased market share
- Anticipate and respond to customer requirements to exceed expectations
- Ensure excellent delivery on annual sales targets and net income
- Align marketing efforts with the Bible Guesthouse's overall business objectives and goals
- Plan, forecast, and implement strategic sales to achieve improved market share and income generation
- Ensure tracking and analyzing of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business development activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel management
- Higher National Diploma or first degree in Catering & Hotel Management or related discipline
- Excellent knowledge of the hospitality industry and management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical mind and logistical planning skills
- Proven proactive high value sales experience in a similar sales role
- Strong financial acumen with ability to balance customer and business priorities
