Job Brief

Seven-Up Bottling Company is seeking a Territory Development Officer to drive sales growth and customer engagement in the Lagos region.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and evaluate customer needs, providing insights to inform business strategy.
  • Promote business success by implementing the cascaded annual business strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Execute sales and trade marketing product display and merchandising techniques to optimize sales performance.
  • Ensure direct reports cover assigned routes and report daily, monitoring sales performance and providing feedback.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients to negotiate and close deals, gathering feedback and sharing with internal teams for prompt resolution.
  • Submit daily sales reviews and reports to the line manager, ensuring timely feedback and adjustments.
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sale, executing the route to market strategy and staying up-to-date with the latest sales trends and best practices.


Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies.
  • 3+ years of experience in beverage sales, territory, and distributor management with a proven track record.
