We are seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead Aviot Industries Nigeria in its pursuit of excellence.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing organizational strategies, goals, and objectives that align with the company's mission and values.
- Collaboration with the Board of Directors is essential to set vision and direction for the organization.
- Ensuring alignment with stakeholders, partners, and industry trends is critical to drive growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership- Develop and Implement Organizational Strategies
- Create and execute plans to achieve company objectives, leveraging industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors
- Work closely with the board to establish the organization's vision and direction, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and industry trends.
- Ensure Alignment with Stakeholders
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and industry leaders.
- Manage Day-to-Day Operations
- Oversee the efficient management of daily operations, ensuring effective resource allocation and minimizing costs.
- Supervise Senior Management Team
- Provide guidance and support to senior managers, empowering them to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
- Oversee Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and strategic alignment.
- Foster a Culture of Innovation
- Encourage a culture of innovation, experimentation, and calculated risk-taking to drive business growth.
- Develop and Implement Talent Management Strategies
- Design and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
- Represent the Organization Globally
- Represent Aviot Industries Nigeria globally, building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders.
- Develop Partnerships and Collaborations
- Develop and maintain partnerships and collaborations to drive business growth and innovation.
- Engage in Advocacy and Public Affairs
- Advocate on behalf of the organization, promoting its mission and values in public forums.
- Ensure Organizational Compliance
- Ensure the organization's compliance with laws, regulations, and standards, maintaining strong governance practices and transparency.
- Maintain Strong Governance Practices
- Establish and maintain strong governance practices, ensuring accountability and transparency throughout the organization.
- Oversee Risk Management and Internal Controls
- Develop and implement risk management and internal controls to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity.
- Develop and Manage Budgets

- Oversee Fundraising and Philanthropic Efforts

- Ensure Effective Resource Allocation

- Serve as Primary Spokesperson
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization, communicating its vision and values to stakeholders and industry leaders.
- Develop and Implement Communication Strategies
- Design and implement communication strategies to promote the organization's brand and values.
- Foster Open Communication Channels
- Encourage open communication channels throughout the organization, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, innovation, and transformation.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Salary
N1,500,000 - N2,500,000 per annum, depending on experience.
