Job Summary
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales efforts within a specific industry sector. You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets by managing a team of sales representatives, building strong customer relationships, and staying abreast of market trends within that industry.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities within the designated industry.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies aligned with overall company goals and industry specifics.
- Establish sales quotas and performance metrics for the sales team.
- Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing sales team with industry expertise.
- Coach and mentor sales representatives to improve their sales skills and close deals effectively.
- Motivate and provide ongoing feedback to sales team members to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry clients and decision-makers.
- Identify customer needs and tailor solutions to address specific industry challenges.
- Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to promote company products and services.
- Generate leads and qualify potential customers within the target industry.
- Manage the sales pipeline by tracking sales activity, identifying potential roadblocks, and ensuring timely follow-up.
