Job Description

The Sales Director - Renewable Energy (Solar) will oversee the sales strategy, team performance, and business development for solar energy solutions. Key responsibilities include identifying new market opportunities, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Sales Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and market share goals. Lead and manage the sales team, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team performance. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Development

Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing sales team, ensuring continuous professional development. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture that promotes accountability, integrity, and innovation. Set clear performance objectives and regularly evaluate the team's performance through reviews and KPIs.

Business Development & Key Account Management

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to expand the company's network and brand presence. Lead negotiations and secure long-term contracts with high-value clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Operations & Reporting

Develop accurate sales forecasts and performance reports for the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and maximizing ROI. Oversee CRM management and ensure data integrity for efficient sales pipeline tracking and analysis.
