
Business Development Representative

Job Description:
The Field Sales (Modern trade) role is a dynamic position that requires a proactive approach to sales, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strategic mindset to identify and exploit new sales opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling high-quality cashew products across designated territories.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by identifying new sales opportunities within assigned territories and ensuring product availability in retail outlets, supermarkets, or distributor warehouses.
- Expand customer base by onboarding new distributors, retailers, or other clients and open new sales territories and penetrate underserved markets through regular store visits and promotional activities such as product sampling or discounts.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing stores and key accounts by addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and providing after-sales support like sales optimization.
- Ensure proper placement and display of products in stores are done by in-store merchandisers and participate in promotional campaigns and in-store branding/activations.
Territory Management:
- Manage a designated sales territory, ensuring effective coverage by planning daily/weekly routes to maximize time and effort and optimizing the use of resources to cover territory effectively.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of FMCG experience, significant experience in modern market sales, and exceptional sales skills that will allow them to start performing immediately.
