Job Overview

As a key member of the BLAKSKILL LIMITED team, the Sales Officer will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to the company's success.

About the Role

The Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts for purchases. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize sales performance and maximize business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including hospitality businesses, corporate organizations, fitness centers, contractors, and individuals.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders such as hotel managers, gym instructors, architects, interior designers, and engineers.
  3. Negotiate contracts for purchases and manage supplier/customer relationships to enhance business efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with the Inventory Team to ensure real-time stock accuracy.
  5. Develop and execute sales strategies and marketing initiatives to attract new customers.
  6. Participate in planning and executing annual exhibitions and conferences to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
  7. Support team members in pitching for and closing viable projects.
  8. Compile weekly team reports and present Monthly Performance Reports (MPR) as required.
  9. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring accountability and motivation within the team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You should possess excellent client management and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with ERPs and CRM systems is an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
