About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the HRD solutions team as an executive assistant, providing confidential administrative support to the publisher and overseeing front office operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, appointments, and travel arrangements on behalf of the publisher. They will also oversee project management tasks, manage the small bookshop in the reception area, and ensure prompt payment of utility bills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage official correspondence on behalf of the publisher
  • Book and schedule appointments and meetings on behalf of the publisher
  • Arrange and manage the publisher's travel itineraries
  • Oversee project management tasks on behalf of the publisher
  • Manage the front office and its operations
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing calls
  • Manage the bookshop and ensure timely lodgement of sales proceeds
  • Promptly settle utility bills
  • Supervise cleaning staff during housekeeping

Requirements

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in computer software and applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • At least two years of experience in an administrative role
  • Proven track record of excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
