Business Development Professional

BLAKSKILL LIMITED seeks a highly motivated Sales Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring seamless execution of sales activities, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, strong client management and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with stakeholders such as hotel managers, gym instructors, architects, interior designers, and engineers.
- Negotiate contracts for purchases and manage supplier/customer relationships to enhance business efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Team to ensure real-time stock accuracy and develop and execute sales strategies to attract new customers.
- Participate in planning and executing annual exhibitions and conferences to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
- Support team members in pitching for and closing viable projects and compile weekly team reports and present Monthly Performance Reports (MPR) as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in a high-end sales environment.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc) in any discipline.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong client management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERPs and CRM systems is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
