**About the Role**
We are seeking a talented Senior Economist Lead to join our team at TEES TALENT HUB. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our economic research efforts and providing strategic guidance to our senior leaders.
Economic Research Leadership
You will oversee the development and implementation of economic research agendas, analyzing data and trends to identify opportunities and risks for our organization. Your expertise will help us navigate the complex economic landscape and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of economic research agendas to inform organizational strategy and decision-making.
- Analyze economic data and trends to identify opportunities and risks for the organization.
- Provide strategic economic guidance and advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex economic concepts and research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate economic analysis into organizational decision-making.
- Represent the organization in external forums, including conferences, seminars, and media interviews.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and academia.
- Manage and mentor a team of economists and research analysts.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging economic trends and research methodologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An advanced degree in Economics (Ph.D. or Master's) or a related field.
- At least 10 - 15 years of experience in economic research and analysis, with a strong track record of publications and presentations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex economic concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and represent the organization externally.
- Strong knowledge of economic research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with economic modeling and forecasting techniques.
