Job Title: Head of Sales - Diaspora Market Focus

Lagos, Nigeria (with significant international travel)

Role Summary
The Head of Sales will be a visionary leader responsible for BuyLetLive's commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market share among Nigerians in the Diaspora. This role oversees the Sales, Business Development and Customer Experience functions, ensuring our portfolio of real estate products and services meets the needs and expectations of the global Nigerian community.
The head of sales will lead and coach a high-performing sales, customer experience and business development teams to build a very efficient commercial engine.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Leadership

Strategy Development:
Develop and implement and continuously review a comprehensive commercial strategy focused exclusively on the Diaspora market, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales volume, pipeline health, and market penetration.

Revenue Growth:
Ownership and accountability for achieving ambitious annual revenue targets by optimising inventory, sales and customer engagement processes.
●
Budget Management:
Oversee the commercial budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation across sales, marketing, and business development initiatives across different international regions (e.g., North America, UK, Europe).
Sales & Business Development
●
Global Sales:
Lead the international sales team, establishing sales hubs and partnership networks in high-density Diaspora regions.
●
Strategic Partnerships:
Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with reputable developers, key financial institutions, mortgage providers, and Diaspora associations to create referral pipelines and financing options.
●
Channel Management:
Develop and manage digital sales channels (webinars, virtual tours, online portals) and physical engagement channels (Diaspora events, roadshows).
Market Insights & Product Alignment
●
Customer Insights:
Drive continuous market research to understand the specific barriers (trust, verification, payment security) and needs (financing, property management) of Nigerians abroad when investing in local real estate.
●
Product Input:
Collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure the property portfolio is correctly packaged and presented to mitigate perceived risks for foreign buyers (e.g., clear titling, flexible payment plans, guaranteed returns).
Customer Experience (CX) & Trust Building

Transparency Focus:
Champion a culture of radical transparency in all commercial dealings, focusing on verifiable documentation, secure payment processes, and regular updates tailored to overseas clients.
●
Service Excellence:
Oversee the development of world-class, seamless post-sale support and communications, addressing the logistical and emotional challenges of investing remotely.
Candidate Profile Requirements
Required Experience
● Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position (Head of Sales or higher) within the real estate industry.
● Proven track record of building and scaling sales operations that consistently exceed targets.
● Deep understanding of the Nigerian Real Estate Market, including regulatory framework, titling processes, and property investment cycles.
● Demonstrable experience working with Diaspora communities, understanding the unique financial, cultural, and psychological factors influencing their investment decisions in their home country.
● Must have direct experience structuring and closing multi-million dollar deals and managing large-scale, distributed sales teams.
● Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and data analytics for performance tracking.

Education
● A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is required.
