Job Title: Junior Sales Specialist

Location: Sangotedo

Salary: ₦200,000

Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Saturday)

Job Summary

The Junior Sales Specialist plays a crucial frontline role in driving both retail and wholesale sales at the Sangotedo branch. This role combines active selling, inventory support, and customer engagement, ensuring an outstanding experience for walk-in buyers and business customers. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and results-driven salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

  • Engage retail walk-in customers and wholesale clients to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to boost transaction value.
  • Convert foot traffic and inquiries into bulk orders.
  • Support the Senior Sales Specialist in meeting branch revenue targets.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Deliver excellent customer service, offering tailored solutions and product recommendations.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base.

Inventory & Sales Operations

  • Assist in managing inventory levels, restocking, and stock display.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all sales transactions and daily reporting.
  • Monitor pricing accuracy and communicate stock updates to customers.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure timely stock availability.

Sales Strategy & Market Feedback

  • Monitor competitor activities and share feedback with management.
  • Support promotional campaigns and in-store activations to drive sales.
  • Contribute to improving store layout, product presentation, and merchandising.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or B2B sales.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset and professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales tracking systems or POS tools.
