Marketing & Business Development Manager
Join our team as a Marketing & Business Development Manager and play a key role in driving the growth of profitable client relationships in the African Region. As a strategic business planning expert, you will develop and implement effective marketing and business development plans to enhance the Region's profile with clients and the market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business development activities, focusing on increasing activity volume, coordination, and implementation of business development processes, global service lines, and industries regionally.
- Leverage existing clients regionally and globally through coordination with the global marketing/BD teams.
- Support and coordinate with the Regional Managing Partner, implementing initiatives and executing on regional priorities developed by RMP and coordinated with global marketing/BD team.
- Manage and complete all reporting for the region, including BD activity via our CRM system and Excel documents, referral reporting, and global industry and service line leadership and BD activities.
- Coordinate with the global BD team to leverage collective experience and implement best practices.
- Foster familiarity and build relationships with Partners, offices, clients, and capabilities of the region on a per location basis and on a regional basis.
- 10-12 years of experience working in a Marketing or Business Development role in a legal or professional services environment.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at an international level.
- Excellent Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Salesforce/CRM a plus.
- Able to present ideas and views clearly and with confidence.
- Creative problem-solving.
- Very high level of attention to detail.
- Very high work standards.
- Ability to prioritize and work with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well both in a team and individually.
- Native/Proficiency in English and French required.
