JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain strong employee relations.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Implement and monitor employee engagement programs.
- Develop and implement performance management systems.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees.
- Work with managers to create performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resource management.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Professional HR certification e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR.
- Experience working in a media house will be an advantage.
