Job Description (Summary)
The Business Development Manager will manage and grow existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities in the Retail, SME, and Corporate sectors. Responsibilities include developing strong client relationships, driving profitability through asset creation, and generating deposits to support the company’s financial goals.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
• Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling.
• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate accounts, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Product Development & Market Strategy
• Conduct market research to inform product development and ensure alignment with customer demands.
• Implement targeted marketing initiatives to enhance brand positioning and drive awareness in the financial sector.
Asset Creation & Profit Maximization
• Focus on quality asset creation and deposit mobilization to support revenue targets.
• Conduct competitor analysis and leverage market insights to adapt business strategies effectively.
Sales Support & Lead Generation
• Lead sales and marketing efforts, participating in pre-proposal meetings and site visits as needed for client acquisition.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support sales initiatives and generate leads through targeted outreach.
Working Relationships
• Internal: Collaborate with all departments and management teams.
• External: Engage with customers, regulators, and other stakeholders as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial bank or financial services company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in marketing, relationship management, and client servicing.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and corporate accounts.
• Proficient in digital marketing, including social media and content strategies.
• Skilled in sales, negotiation, and client engagement.
• Strong analytical and commercial insight with project management skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in simplifying complex information.
