Job Summary
The Business Development and Strategy Manager will be responsible for driving the organization's growth by identifying business opportunities, developing long-term strategies, and building key partnerships. He/She will oversee strategic planning, execution of business initiatives, and ensure alignment with the company's corporate goals while positioning the organization competitively within the market
Responsibilities
· Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams.
· Develop and implement corporate strategy, business plans, and growth initiatives.
· Lead contract negotiations, partnership agreements, and client acquisition efforts.
· Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
· Prepare feasibility studies, business cases, and financial projections for projects.
· Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
· Present proposals, reports, and updates to Executive Management.
· Monitor execution of strategic initiatives and ensure measurable outcomes.
· Mentor and guide the business development team to achieve set objectives.
Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
· Mba or Master's degree in Strategy, Business, or Finance (preferred).
· year's proven experience in business development, strategy or management consulting.
· Strong knowledge of market analysis and Excellent communication, negotiation.
· Proven experience in bidding on the NIPEX platform (very important).
· Must have strong relationships with NCDMB, NNPC, and other International Oil Companies (IOCs), and be able to bring new opportunities to our company.
. Relevant industry experience in offshore support, vessel hiring, general marine logistics, dredging, and construction.
