Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our company's overall business objectives, focusing on revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets, ensuring a high-performance sales culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners to enhance our company's presence in the market and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
- Set ambitious sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds them through effective planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure product availability, promotional activities, and brand strategies are effectively aligned with sales efforts.
- Oversee sales budgets, control costs, and ensure that sales operations are financially efficient.
- Report regularly on sales performance, revenue, and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales channels, expanding our company's customer base and product distribution in the FMCG market.
- Continuously review and improve sales processes, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and customer engagement, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership role.
- Experience within the FMCG space.
- In-depth understanding of the FMCG market, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and key industry trends.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large sales teams.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a sales team to meet and exceed targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, market research, and financial reports.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software.
- A degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
