Working with Ascentech Services Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broiler Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial broiler farms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal science, agronomy, or a related field, and a minimum of 7+ years of experience in broiler farming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute commercial broiler farming tasks for EC pens and open houses.
  • Handle operations of commercial broiler farms, setting goals and objectives, and designing a framework for these to be met.
  • Maintain a high level of farm presentation at all times, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage staff effectively to enhance farm performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with feed and day-old chick procedures, ensuring positive working relationships are maintained.
  • Operational oversight of all pen houses regarding preparation and maintenance, feeding, health, and quality assurance, growth, and harvesting.

Requirements and Skills:

  • B.Sc/HND in Animal Science, Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing situations.
