About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven sales expert with extensive experience in the engineering, electronics, or technical services domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong business relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving sales conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for and deliver solar energy solutions to 500,000 businesses and households across Nigeria as part of the Baltai Energy SSN Campaign.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage individuals and businesses to sell solar energy solutions to homeowners and businesses.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with businesses and homeowners to drive sales conversions.
  • Generate and establish a strong database of leads that can be converted into sales of solar energy equipment.
  • Engage, register, and assist homeowners and/or businesses to take advantage of the Baltai Energy SSN Campaign and access solar financing for their homes and businesses.
  • Convert viable leads into sales of solar energy equipment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients on product and service escalations, inquiries, and other queries after installation of solar equipment.
  • Provide regular feedback to company management to inform marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with solar technicians and management to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Operate as the primary point of contact for clients and prospects.
  • Assist in developing and improving policies, processes, and procedures for better marketing insights and strategy.
  • Promote company and product awareness on social media, focus groups, and solar awareness forums to attract more sales.
  • Participate in industry events and in-market learning sessions.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports to supervisors or line managers as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong sales mentality with a hyper-focus on sales performance (revenue generation).
  • Ability to identify and drive new opportunities that advance and deepen business relationships.
  • Confidence and ability to make compelling presentations before audiences.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups.
  • At least 2 years of core sales experience in engineering, electronics, automobile, real estate, or technical services.
  • Minimum ND or NCE qualification.
  • Technical experience in solar energy installations is an advantage.
  • Working smartphone for effective online and offline communication.

Estimated Salary: ₦800,000 - ₦1,200,000 per annum.
