With a modern platform designed for low-cost, high-value money transfers and faster settlement times, we're breaking down barriers that have held back African commerce for decades.The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead and scale our commercial efforts across Nigeria and key intra-African trade corridors.You'll drive growth, build relationships with major clients, and expand our presence across markets — especially between NGN, XAF, and XOF. If you've sold payment or FX solutions to multinationals and understand the realities of African trade, this is your chance to shape the future of cross-border finance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth goals.Define and track KPIs such as client acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue.Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team across Nigeria, Cameroon, and Côte d'Ivoire.Expand our presence across intra-African corridors (especially XAF XOF and NGN XAF).Cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers, advising on regulation, payments, FX, and trade finance.Establish strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and ecosystem players.Contribute to go-to-market planning, pricing, and product positioning.Deliver accurate sales forecasting and reporting to leadership. Requirements10 years' experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership within fintech, payments, or financial services.Proven success in selling B2B payment solutions to multinationals and African importers/exporters.Deep understanding of CEMAC, UEMOA, and Nigerian markets and their regulatory environments.Hands-on experience with intra-African payments and trade flows (XAF XOF, NGN XAF).Strong network within African trade and multinational ecosystems.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a high-growth startup.French proficiency is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary + equityMedical, Dental, and Vision coverageNew MacBook and up to $2,000 home office budget (headphones, desk, chair, etc.)Opportunity to shape the future of African cross-border payments
