Job Summary: IT Support Specialist responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and improving system efficiency.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via various platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line support for customer inquiries via all available platforms
  • Recording and analyzing user faults reported and resolved
  • Training end-users on hardware, software, and databases
  • Answering end-user queries and providing technical assistance
  • Monitoring technical developments and informing end-users of relevant updates
  • Determining the source of problems with production systems and implementing corrective actions
  • Informing end-users of potential issues with hardware, software, or databases
  • Initiating changes to improve system efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Mac operating systems and common software applications
  • Familiarity with hardware setup and repair, including PCs, printers, and mobile devices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Understanding of IT security protocols and best practices
