At GIG MOBILITY, we're seeking a highly skilled Travel Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of success in sales and customer service. You will be responsible for planning and selling airline tickets, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services to meet the needs of our clients.

We are looking for a results-driven professional who is passionate about the travel industry and has a keen eye for detail. As a Travel Sales Executive, you will be expected to:

  • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and provide personalized recommendations on destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations;
  • Provide relevant information, brochures, and publications to travelers, ensuring they have all the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions;
  • Book airline tickets, make hotel reservations, and collect payment/fees in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Utilize promotional techniques and prepare marketing materials to sell itinerary tour packages, driving revenue growth and increasing brand visibility;
  • Deal with any travel-related problems, complaints, or refunds in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Attend travel seminars and workshops to stay updated on the latest tourism trends and industry developments;
  • Enter data into our software system and maintain accurate client files, ensuring seamless operations and efficient customer service;
  • Network with tour operators and other industry professionals to establish strong relationships and identify new business opportunities;
  • Maintain detailed statistical and financial records, providing valuable insights and analytics to inform business decisions;
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and contributing to the company's overall success.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a Travel Sales Executive at GIG MOBILITY, you will need:

  • A proven work experience as a Travel Agent or in a related field;
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservation systems and e-travel platforms;
  • Fluency in English, with multilingualism being a plus;
  • Strong sales skills and commercial awareness, with a proven track record of success;
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with clients and colleagues;
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends, including local customs, regulations, and events;
  • A degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field;
  • Personal travel experience, which will be considered an advantage in this role.
