Job Summary

  • Create purchase requisitions and procure goods and services based on organizational needs.
  • Process purchase requisitions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier information and contracts.
  • Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, and replenish stock as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Conduct research and communicate with vendors and suppliers to identify the best goods and services for the organization.
  • Create a database of invoices, purchase orders, quote requests, and vendor or supplier contracts, and update it as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to understand their procurement needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • Track and maintain the status of orders, and report any delivery issues to affected team leaders.
  • Respond to emergency requests and expedite orders when necessary.
  • Generate monthly and annual purchase reports for management review.
  • Ensure that all purchased goods and services meet company standards and comply with relevant federal or state laws.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of procurement best practices, market conditions, and product innovations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration, addressing any issues, and seeking mutually beneficial solutions to challenges.
  • Perform all procurement activities, including pre-qualification, negotiation, supplier agreements, and contract preparation.
  • Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies for audit purposes.
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.
  • C Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.
  • Arrange and coordinate transportation services for the delivery of medical supplies and other stocks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and manage relationships with external logistics providers.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of deliverables, inventory levels, and transportation activities.
  • Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • C Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of goods to prevent damage or loss.
  • Ensure that respective expected times of arrivals are met.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to reduce workplace accidents.
  • Schedule maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and operational optimization.
