Business Development Lead

**Job Overview**
We are Marbleclear Limited, a leading company in the plastic chemical industry. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to join our team.
**Salary:** The estimated salary for this role is ₦5,500,000 - ₦8,250,000 per annum.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer needs and requirements to maintain and grow business relationships
- Lead customer relations management and develop new markets
- Achieve sales targets within designated territory
- Lead a local Nigerian team of 4 sales personnel to meet territory targets
- Create strategic plans for the territory, including monthly, weekly sales, and collection plans
- Prepare and analyze sales reports for decision-making
- Systematically visit customers to generate leads, close orders, and increase market penetration
- Follow up on deliveries with logistics and ensure collections are made within credit period
- Attend technical discussions with customers and forward developments to the laboratory
- Conduct product trials with customers to gain approvals and commercialize products
- Coordinate with the R&D team to resolve customer complaints
- Update customer database and market mapping system
- Monitor competitor activities and implement counterstrategies to improve market share
**Requirements:
- HND/BSC in Engineering, Business Administration or any relevant field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the Chemical or Plastics industry
- Strong understanding of compounding and application knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications
